Bingo

The LAST set of dates for the 2019 season is now posted at the bottom of this page. If you haven’t yet worked your mandatory bingo, this is your LAST chance. For those that still need to work the mandatory bingo, please ensure that you indicate that in your email to Elly. Bingos fill up fast so please do not wait too long to sign up.

General Information:

First and foremost, ALL emails regarding bingos are to be directed to Elly at emjohnson3818@shaw.ca

The Saskatoon A's Baseball Association have partnered with City Centre Bingo to help off-set costs for zone baseball registration fees. The amount generated from working bingos goes directly into buying zone equipment and uniforms and helps to provide coaching and umpire incentives within the zone. Your participation is important and helps generate necessary revenue for zone resources. Thank you for helping make a positive difference in baseball.

How the Bingo Process Works
  • Affects players in Mosquito, Pee Wee, Bantam (excluding Bantam AAA) and Midget only.

  •
  • A $100 bingo deposit cheque was required as part of your registration process. This cheque will not be cashed if a parent or guardian works one bingo time slot. Alternatively, a Bantam or Midget-aged player may work the bingo themselves.

  • You may also choose to work additional bingos. For these added bingos, you will be paid through your team accounts for baseball-season related expenses.

  • THIS IS A GREAT WAY TO HELP SUBSIDIZE YOUR COSTS RELATED TO BASEBALL!

IMPORTANT TO NOTE THE FOLLOWING:

  • When requesting to work a bingo, please ensure you include the following:

    • Date of the Bingo
    • Name (first and last) and Division of Player
    • Name of bingo worker (first and last)
    • Phone number of worker
    • Bingo session (early and/or late)

  • If you are more than 10 minutes late or do not show up for your shift, without letting Elly know, your spot may be filled by another worker and your bingo cheque will be cashed.

  • We do understand that things come up so if you need to cancel your spot, we request 48 hours’ notice.

  • It is your responsibility to remember the date(s) you have signed up for. If you are a “no show” with no contact your cheque may be cashed and you may not be allowed to sign up for additional bingos.

  • Thank you for your understanding. Elly does her best to accommodate everyone, but she is a volunteer and has a full-time job and it is extremely difficult to fill spots with short or no notice.

Times and dates for the LAST block of bingos are as follows:

Please note that Elly will only reply to emails if the spot you sign up for is full.

When you are requesting a time, please ensure to provide information specified previously on this page.
